Hey everyone, here is module two of the practitioner’s course. This one is quite ‘meaty’ and worth coming back to multiple times.

Chapters:

  1. Living Rituals: The difference between routines/rituals, and practice. Most importantly, how they fuse to create living rituals.

  2. Practices as Animate Currents & Containers: Now we begin to take a more animist/animated perspective on practices individually and as a whole.

  3. If your path were a god, what kind of god would it be? Exploring practice as a living current, that is also a being with character, ability, skills, strengths and weaknesses.

  4. Core Themes, Archetypes & The Deep Story of Your Practice: Exploring the core thematic aspects of your path, it’s inherent archetypal patterns, and thus the deep story that powers it.

  5. Cultivating Qualities Vs Skills: Why shifting away from skills as primary, to qualities as primary is enormously helpful in building an ecology of practice.

  6. Building an Ecology of Practice: Bringing everything together by establishing majors & minors, maintenance & rotation. It’s like a garden.

  7. Keystone Practices: Just like keystone species in natural ecologies, but for practice.

  8. The Pyramid: A hierarchal and volume based perspective on the ecology, and what it means to establish a ‘cultivation base’.

  9. Temporary Rafts: Going deep on practices that are just meant to take you from A-B, and then are let go of.
